The Great Serengeti Migration The Wildebeest Migration, is one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World” and also known as The World Cup of Wildlife . No where in the world is there a movement of animals as immense as the wildebeest migration, over two million animals migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya during July through to October . The migration has to cross the Mara River in the Maasai Mara where crocodiles will prey on them. This is one of the highlights as the animals try and cross the Mara River alive. The World's Most Spectacular Wildebeest Event. The       Serengeti Great Migration.   It happen every year starting from southern Serengeti (May/June) to western Serengeti (Aug/Sep/Oct) to Masai Mara Kenya (Nov) back to Serengeti eastern (Dec/Jan) then to southern Serengeti (Jan/May).

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a vast area with altitude ranging from 1009 to 3645m  (3310-11959ft). They spend the night in a lodge or campsite on the crater rim and visit the crater floor for wildlife  viewing.  Both the rim (about 2300m/8530ft) and floor (about 1700m/5577ft) are at high altitude and are  colder than  the overall conservation area.  Temperatures drop by about 6.5°C for every 1000m you climb (or 3.5°F per 1000ft).  The difference is more noticeable during the night. Afternoons on the crater floor will be pleasant,  but it can freeze on the crater rim at night. The rim also receives quite a lot of rain.

Superbowl Champion, Ray Lewis, also attempted  Kilimanjaro  Retired 13-time Pro Bowl linebacker and Superbowl Champion, Ray Lewis, climbed Kilimanjaro in 2013. Sadly, Lewis did not finish due to an injured foot and illness. What is Solar Eclipse Solar Eclipse 2016 in Tanzania In September 2016 the annular solar eclipse's zone of totality will pass through Tanzania's Katavi and Ruaha National Parks (Rujewa area) and offer onlookers the best possible view of it. Whilst offering a view of the eclipse, both parks also offer off the beaten track safaris with excellent wildlife viewing. August is the middle of the dry season when wildlife viewing is at its best, with animals concentrated around few available water sources. Katavi National Park is one of Tanzania's largest and most remote parks, far out to the west of the country. With only a hand full of camps it is often considered one of Africa's greatest wilderness areas and when you are out on drives you will very rarely see other vehicles. Mount Kilimanjaro   ( pronunciation:   / ˌ k ɪ l ɪ m ə n ˈ dʒ ɑː r oʊ / ),   with its three   volcanic cones , "Kibo", "Mawenzi",and "Shira", is a dormant   volcano   in   Tanzania . It is the highest   mountain   in   Africa , and rises approximately 4,900 m (16,000 ft) from its base to 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) above sea level. The first recorded ascent to the summit of the mountain was by   Hans Meyer   and Ludwig Purtscheller   in 1889. The mountain is part of the   Kilimanjaro National Park   and is a major climbing destination. The mountain has been the subject of many scientific studies because of its shrinking glaciers.

Mbwana Samatta Tanzania tourism goodwill ambassador

Mbwana Samatta signed a contract with Belgium Genk club which will come to an end in 2020 season. Samatta who is also the National team (Taifa star) Captain was also voted the best African footballer playing on the African continent in 2015.  Managing Director of Tanzania Tourist Board Ms Devota Mdachi disclosed that TTB will now work on the best modalities to utilize this wonderful opportunity of having Mbwana as the greatest Tanzania professional footballer to market Tanzania as a unique tourist destination.
